Mary Taylor ( Lynch)

29.08.1925 ~ 25.02.2004

Mary Taylor, formerly Lynch, was a cherished member of the family whose presence brought warmth and joy to every gathering. Her gentle spirit and infectious laughter lit up rooms, making even the simplest moments unforgettable. Mary had a unique ability to connect with each family member, offering comfort and wisdom in times of need. As the matriarch, she created a sense of unity, fostering traditions that will continue to be treasured by all. Though she is dearly missed, the memories of her kindness and love remain etched in the hearts of her family, serving as a lasting legacy of her profound impact on their lives.

A dearly loved member of the family…

Born on 29th August 1925, Mary spent much of her youth engaged in line dancing, a pastime that brought her great joy and a sense of community. Her love for dance not only provided her with a creative outlet but also allowed her to form lasting friendships. Later in life, Mary married. Her experiences in line dancing remained a cherished part of her life, influencing her relationships and the memories she created along the way. Mary loved knitting in her younger years along with visiting the picture house.

A fond memory recalled would be the time that Mary was convinced there was an intruder within the house. An inspection of the house revealed the culprit was just the singing fish that was going off due to low battery! This brought many laughs and smiles to the family.

“To our great Mum”

By Luke Shires

Of all the special gifts in life
however great or small,
to have you as our Mum
was the greatest of all.

May the winds of love blow softly
and whisper in your ear
”We love and miss you mum
and wish that you were here”

Deep in our hearts, your life is kept to love and cherish,
not forget. No more tomorrows we can share
but yesterdays are always there.

A silent thought, a secret tear
keeps your memory ever near
in our hearts forever.

An honour…

There is no doubt we will miss Mary in every endeavour we undertake. Mary’s smile and compassionate heart will continue to inspire us, urging us to keep going on those hard days. As we await to see her again in the peaceful eternal rest, we may take this chance to listen to this track as we reflect and celebrate the life of Mary Taylor, the woman we have all been so lucky to of known and had in our lives.

May you rest in eternal peace Mary.
