Liam Denner passed away 16.06.2021. Liam is described as a beautiful brave boy with a cheeky little personality and the biggest of smiles no matter what challenges he was facing.

Liam was reputed as a cheeky little chap brimming with honesty, unafraid to voice his opinions no matter how they may be. It was common for him to unabashedly inform those around him, especially the nurses on duty, that they were in dire need of a shower due to what he perceived as an unpleasant odour. Despite the efforts of the nurses to wear their perfumes, Liam remained unimpressed and often found their scents equally objectionable, much to his amusement. Snow fairy, in particular, emerged as Liam's least favourite fragrance, capable of inciting chaos with its mere presence, a testament to his unwavering and mischievous spirit.

Zoey, Liam's mother, fondly recalls one of her favourite memories of Liam at Legoland. As they wandered through the intricately crafted model village, she watched her son's face light up with pure joy. Liam was completely in his element, his eyes wide with wonder and his smile radiant with happiness. Zoey's heart swelled with love at the sight of her son immersed in such simple delight. That moment, etched in her memory, serves as a poignant reminder of the innocence and beauty of childhood, and she knows that Liam's smile on that day will stay with her forever.

Trains..Trains and Trains!


Liam had a deep, unwavering passion for trains that impacted every aspect of his life. Exploring train museums and immersing himself in videos showcasing various locomotives brought immense joy to his heart. Among all the trains he learned about and admired, the Flying Scotsman held a special place in Liam's heart. Witnessing the majestic locomotive pass through train stations never failed to captivate him. Despite holding tickets to finally experience a ride on the Flying Scotsman, fate had a different plan. Liam's untimely departure into Liam’s forever sleep. came before he could embark on this eagerly anticipated journey, leaving behind a legacy of love for trains that would forever endure.

Shotgun sing-along

Liam's favorite song was "Shotgun" by George Ezra. Whenever this upbeat tune started playing, his face would light up with a big smile, eagerly anticipating the chance to sing along in karaoke sessions. The catchy melody and lively rhythm never failed to lift Liam's spirits, creating a sense of joy and fun whenever the song filled the air. Liam's love for "Shotgun" was evident in the way he belted out the lyrics with enthusiasm, making it a special and memorable part of his life.

Liam's enthusiasm for Lego City knew no bounds. He effortlessly navigated through the digital landscapes, mastering every aspect of the game as if it were second nature. His daily ritual of completing the entire game come as no surpise for Liam, we would even go as far as to say Liam could do this with his eyes closed. Beyond video games, Liam cherished the moments spent playing Monopoly with his grandma, affectionately dubbing it “penopoly” with childlike charm. A fondness for crazy golf also ran deep in Liam's heart, especially when challenging his dad and grandad. Despite his claims of being the ultimate champion, a playful family rivalry between Liam and his grandad always ensued, leaving Liam beaming with pride, ready to recount his victorious tales to his amused mum. Liam's passion for playful competition and cherished traditions painted a heart-warming picture of his joyous adventures with family.

Liam would often be found saying the phrase “ Can you not read?” This would be to anyone that would go into his room when his mum and dad wasn’t around. Liam would display a sign on his door and unless you’re mum or dad you are being told “Can you not read?” on entry"!

A well loved little boy

Liam cherished his sister and best friend, Scarlet, sharing an unbreakable bond. His love extended to his brother McKenzie and sister Peyton, forming a tight-knit familial connection. Liam held a special place in his heart for his Grandma, Grandad, Mummy, and Daddy. The dedicated nurses who cared for Liam also earned a lasting spot in his mother's heart. Days spent with Jamie, Codie, and beach outings were among Liam's favourite pastimes. Liam's love was reciprocated by his extensive circle of family and friends, demonstrating his immense capacity for affection. Liam’s affection knew no bounds, reciprocated by his loved ones. Liam’s legacy of kindness, resilience, and joy will endure through his family and friends, ensuring that his memory lives on in the hearts of those he touched.
