A smile that could warm the coldest of hearts. As we gather today to remember our much loved Jonny, take a moment to reflect below on the life and legacy of the man we all miss.
One in a billion…
Jonny’s personality is one of a strong willed, kind, caring yet extremely funny person. Jonny had a way to make anybody laugh, smile and feel better whilst in his company. It wasn’t hidden that Jonny was the true life and soul of any and every party he was at. You would naturally want to smile with Jonny, he brought that out of everyone… after he would manage to use his cheeky ways to wind you up in 0.5 seconds of course! In every way Jonny really was one in a billion and will be Sorley missed.
A dearly loved member of the family…
Born on 30th May 1989 to Angela and Stef. A brother to Cheryl, Nicky, Maia, John Paul, Charly and Josh. Jonny spent his childhood years in the area of Lowton but as he grew older his personality meant he became friends with many in local town Leigh. Jonny became a part leyther since he befriended most of the town! Jonny was always a cheeky chap with a smile that you could forgive. Weather he’d be “nipping shop” or going to parties he was always bringing joy. Jonny’s family will always look to continue his legacy along with his son, as they continue to carry the light that Jonny shared everywhere he went.

A proud Dad…
Jonny became a dad to his only son James on 25th February 2014. This was and always remained a very proud moment for Jonny. It was a momentous occasion in his life, filled with both excitement and nerves. Holding his newborn James for the first time was a feeling like no other, overwhelming him with a deep sense of responsibility and love. From that day on, his world changed as he embraced the challenges and joys of fatherhood with determination and affection. The arrival of his child marked a new chapter in Jonny's life, one that would shape his future in ways he never could have imagined.

Heavens Door
By Joanne Cris
I sit here and ponder how very much
I’d like to talk with you today
there are so many things
that we didn’t get to say.
I know how much you care for me
and how much I care for you
and each time I think of you
I know you’ll miss me too.
An angel came an took you by the hand and said
Your place was ready in Heaven, far above
and you had to leave behind all those you dearly loved
you had so much to live for, you had so much to do
it still seems impossible that God was taking you
Though your life on earth is past, in Heaven starts anew
you’ll live for eternity, just as God has promised you
and though you’ve walked through Heaven’s door
we are never far apart
For every time I think of you
you’re right here, deep within my heart.
Jonny and Bailey
If you was to ask Jonny what’s important in his life then there is no doubt that his beloved pet dog Bailey. Jonny gave Bailey so much love and care just as Bailey did to Jonny. Jonny adored his pet dog Bailey with an unrivalled passion. From the moment they first met a deep bond formed between them. Bailey's playful nature and unwavering loyalty brought immense joy to Jonny's life. They spent endless hours together playing, going on walks, and curling up on the couch. Jonny cherished every moment shared with Bailey, finding solace and comfort in their unspoken connection. As days turned into years, their bond only grew stronger, proving that the love between a man and his dog knows no bounds.
