There is no doubt that Christopher’s presence will be missed today and all days. Chris had an infectious laugh that could make the darkest of days that little brighter. A smile that could warm the coldest of hearts. As we gather today to remember our much loved Chris, take a moment to reflect below on the life and legacy of the man we all miss.
A dearly loved member of the family…
Born on 11th August 1972 to Bernie. A brother to Brian and Derek and Dad to daughter Chelsea. Chris spent his childhood years in Tyldesley, Little Hulton and Leigh but as he grew older and moved areas his personality meant he also became friends with many throughout these local towns. Chris was a very talented man which was clear to see throughout the early years of his life. During school he was that gifted in Art that the school often displayed Chris’s work around the grounds. Chris even went on to study Art at college. Chris is a lifelong Liverpool FC fan along with the beloved Leigh Leopard Rugby League club he loved all things sport. Chris even played Rugby himself during his school years.
Chris had immense pride for his family including his daughter Chelsea. Chris would cherish every opportunity to share some “Dad and Daughter time”. From the moment Chris became a father he has always been able recall those feelings of love he felt then, that have continued to grow as his daughter has grown into a woman that Chris was always so proud of. Chris was also very close to both brothers Brian and Derek, often sharing in the same passions from work to hobbies and none less than local rugby club Leigh Leopards. Having spent many times within their family box sharing many happy memories including that incredible day where Leigh Leopards managed to win the challenge cup. This will remain a happy memory for all the family. Chris was always his brother’s number one supporter in everything they did, he would admire them in a way only close-knit families could. Chris also had a deep connection with his mum Bernie and of course “Aunty A” who was always beside Chris in every part of life. Through good and bad times, the family remained together and supportive. Chris was always a cheeky chap with a smile that you could forgive. Known as being a very funny and witty person who had a unique sense of humour that will be sorely missed. Chris’s family will always look to continue his legacy along with his daughter, as they continue to carry the light that Chris shared everywhere he went.

About Chris
Chris, one of three sons to Bernie. Grew up in humble surroundings full of love. Chris and his brothers learnt from an early age the meaning of family, loyalty and hard work. Fast forward some years and Chris become a founder of AB Sundecks a family decking installation company that would go on to be the biggest in the country. Chris shined in this role and genuinely had a passion for providing the best solutions for his customers. Chris wouldn’t rest on a completed job until the finished decking was something that he was proud of.
Over the years Chris has taking new members under his wing as he generously shares his knowledge, experience and skills which will ensure the legacy of Christopher’s impeccable abilities will continue for many years to come.
Chris wasn’t just a fantastic decking installer; he was a very talented entertainer. You name a song and Chris can sing it, and in a great fashion! Music was a very large part of Chris’s life and in former years would often be found donning an Elvis suit as he did what Chris could do so well, entertaining and making people smile!
If all that wasn’t enough Chris had even taken up Karate something he loved to do along with his daughter Chelsea, brothers Brian and Derek and cousins too! This gave the family great memories to reflect upon.
“His Journey’s
just begun”
By Ellen Brenneman
Don't think of him as gone away
his journey's just begun,
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched...
for nothing loved is ever lost
and he was loved so much.

Chris and Beau
From an early age, it was evident that Chris had a deep affection for his four-legged friends, effortlessly Chris would be able to gain trust… and cuddles from dogs. As Chris faced adult life, he was able to have a companion of his own and loved every moment. There has always been a special place in his heart is reserved for Beau, his stunning Husky. Their bond was unmistakable as they shared countless walks together, often resulting in Chris wearing down new boots far too quickly. The way Chris would light up when Beau bounded towards him was a clear indication of their strong connection. These shared adventures not only strengthened their friendship but also highlighted Chris’s genuine love for animals, as he found immense joy in every moment spent with his beloved companion.

An honour…
There is no doubt we will miss Chris in every endeavour we undertake. His smile and compassionate heart will continue to inspire us, urging us to keep going on those hard days. As we await to see him again in the peaceful eternal rest, we may take this chance to listen to the last song Chris sang to his mum whilst on holiday in Spain as we reflect and celebrate the life of Christopher Gordon Beaumont, the man we have all been so lucky to of known and had in our lives.
May you rest in eternal peace Chris.
